General Description
Steel Plate and Section Cleaning Machine has 6 or 8 Blast Wheel Units,
driven by flange mounted motors being so disposed as to give optimum coverage of the
specified work envelope size.
The down-firing blast wheels are angled and positioned before the up-firing blast wheels
to prevent media build up on the plates and sections, thus preventing masking and
blanketing and giving much more efficient cleaning.
The blast cabinet is fully lined with manganese steel blast media resistant wear plates.
Projecting from one end is the inlet vestibule, partially lined with manganese steel
wearing plates and fitted with multiple sets of rubber curtains to prevent media escape.
The inlet vestibule has 2 collection hoppers and screw conveyors with shaft mounted
reduction geared motors. The vestibule is also fitted with a series of rubber sealing
curtains
The exit vestibule contains the spent blast media removal system, with air knife and
rotating brush unit with power operated raising and lowering systems giving the optimum
working position for the different heights of sections and plate thickness being
processed.

This is a roller conveying type and high-performance shot blast cleaning equipment. The work piece which is to be cleaned will be transmitted to shot blast area inside clean room via speed adjusting motor on conveying roller bed.

Then work piece will be shot by shot blasters from 8 various and even arranged directions. After strong and intensive shot blasting and with the friction, the rust and oxide skin will go off, so the steel surface is formed a certain degree of roughness and also luster effect.
At the same time, because the work piece has been strongly and completely hit, it has removed the stress and avoided work piece deformation.
